Walking down the London streets, alone. It has been awhile. I was walking a city, with city lights I never knew before. The smell of a new city, mixed with my feelings of a new life and the hope for a new myself. Searching the streets, was I searching someone, or just this dream. The first real solo trip. In reach for myself. Time was limited. A decision needed to be made. Walking down the small streets of the glaring names of brands, I never even imagined. The reality of it, mixed with the fear and the uncertainty of what was real and what not. Was I dreaming a dream and was I really good at living in this world.. Dressed in my black dress, dark long coat – it was London, cold and all the same, so calm and refreshing after a spring cold rain. The breeze of the wind was awakening. A quick thought of English tea and the shortcake biscuits brought my senses of true forgetfulness for the little time I had left. All these names, brands, people, smells – brought my senses back to where I was. In London. I was alone, but so fulfilled with my search. Irreplaceable, irresistible, addictive- those were some of the words, swirling in my head for the countless of blueberry nights, those yet to come.
The fashion was craving for that. For me. The ocean was away. The coasts distant. And I was walking those streets, full of fashion, full of life, full of colors and gleam, and I thought to myself.. I was not only craving for fashion, fashion was not only in the sky, and in the streets, and in my high heels, and in the corner of my eyes. Fashion was me.
Grabbed my coffee, put on my heels, fixed my pink cateyed sunglasses, my roseberry lipstick and I was ready, for the first time, I knew I am ready.. for this world. I belonged to it. It was the armor of my reality. Irreplaceable I was.
